The Ouroboros came into my life during a transitional period. The Ouroboros is one of the oldest symbols that spans cultures. Depicting a serpent or dragon eating its self. Its symbolic for the infinite nature of existence, as well as the cycle of creation and destruction. The serpent consumes its self at the same rate in witch it produces its self. There is a point of unconsciousness in the whole thing where the serpent is unaware it is its self it is consuming. This is similar to the growth process we go through in life. We can only grow at the rate in witch we are able to change and produce new habits. We share a point of unconsciousness as well it doesn’t appear to us that much changes day to day but when you look back a month or a year you can see all the progress you have made. In order to become a new you the old you must die, much like consuming yourself this can be a painful process.
