Fiery Water
A friend asked me my astrological sign. I told her I was a Scorpio, she said I was a fiery water sign. I didn’t understand what she meant by this analytically. But it made sense. shortly after this interaction I spent some time alone connecting to myself and painting. In this piece I tried to come to an understanding of what it meant to be a fiery water sign. This painting showed me how despite being opposite polarities fire and water can coexist together. I think what it means to be a fiery water sign is to hold the polarities of life in a balance being able to move between them effortlessly.
